The Caple DDMEXT28 Downdraft Extraction Motor is a compact and practical solution designed specifically for Caple downdraft extractors only. Intended for behind-plinth installation, this motor keeps components neatly hidden while delivering reliable ventilation performance. With an extraction rate of 478 to 559m³/h, the DDMEXT28 is ideal for everyday cooking, efficiently removing steam and odours in recirculating setups. Constructed from durable aluminium die-cast, it offers long-lasting strength and dependable operation.

Rated B to C for energy efficiency, it balances performance with sensible energy use. This motor is not suitable for ceiling cooker hoods and is designed for use in recirculation mode only (recirculation kit required). Rigid ducting must be used, with a 150mm ducting size specified. The DDMEXT28 is also compatible with the PlasmaMade GUC1314 filter, making it a flexible option for advanced air purification in downdraft installations.
