Caple DDMEXT31 is a downdraft and ceiling extraction motor designed to work with Caple downdraft or ceiling cooker hoods. This external motor is built to be mounted on an outside wall, helping keep noise away from your kitchen while delivering strong ventilation. It comes with a  m electrical connection cable so you can place the motor up to 7 m from the hood, and its stainless steel die‑cast construction means it is robust and durable. It is sized for use with 150 mm ducting, and rigid ducting should be used for correct installation.

When paired with a compatible downdraft or ceiling hood, the DDMEXT31 supports efficient removal of steam, smoke, and cooking odours by moving air through the ducting outside your home rather than inside the kitchen. Installing the motor externally can reduce in‑room noise compared with internal motors and gives flexibility in kitchen layout without sacrificing extraction performance.
